Update on Jasmine, She is doing a tiny bit better. She got really sick on Saturday night so we had to take her off the antibiotics and put her on another kind. So we will see how that works. Thanks for all your purrs and woofs.

Second update on Jasmine. She would not eat this morning and the vet called us, and wants us to bring her in. The Person is very upset.

Hi there, Mahoney, Two Two and Little Bit here looking out on our porch. Our Mom had a brainstorm ( that doesn't happen often) and she had this gate in the house to try to get Baby Doll used to us, and it was a nice cool day so she opened the door and put the gate up so we could see all of the outdoors. It was pretty darn interesting. Of course we growled at all the kitties that were outside and that came up to the gate. She tried to go around and take a picture of us from the other side and we thought that was really really scary that she was out there so we ran and hid. MOL.

Jasmine wouldn't eat last night so Mom stopped the anitibiotics and will give her less antibiiotics today and give her some of her normal food and then see what happens. We don't know if it is the new food or the anitibiotics keeping her from eating.

Hi there, Jasmine here. The Person thought I was just hurting a lot from my arthiritis so when I couldn't make it up the steps, she took me to the dreaded vet yesterday. Well the news wasn't very good. They stole my bloods and my urine.  It turns out it looks like I am in kidney failure and also my white blood cell count is up which probably means an infection. So now I have to take more pills.

So now I have to eat special fuds which thank COD, I like but then I just plain like food. So the Person has been a wreck all day and she isn't the one that had to stay at the vet while they stole my urine and my furs off my bottom part. I have a bare bottom. That was NOT fun. So if you can send some purrs ( I love kitties) and if you have any doggie brothers or sisters, some woofs, I would really like it.

This week is the week for adopting less adoptable  pets. We adopted Little Bit who had been hit by a car and had to have part of her hip removed and she does everything every one else does. You would never know there was anything wrong with her.

Here are some of the facts of the cats that have the hardest time getting adopted. So please if you are adopting a kitty, get an older cat or a black cat. They are terrific.

There isn't a nose pinker than Pinky's! That's why she's named Pinky! Pinky's previous home had children who teased the heck out of her and didn't treat her well. Because of that, she's had to learn to trust again. What this means is that while for the most part she is adoring and extremely affectionate and generously hugs and gives cute pink nose kisses, she has moments when she isn't sure if the hand is going to stroke her or hurt her.

That's why she needs a home with someone who is kind and gentle and who understands cat's behavior. For the right person, Pinky will give joyful and cuddly companionship. She's a non-shedder and has fur as soft as a rabbit. She is available for a $35 adoption fee in the Sacramento/Placer/Nevada/El Dorado/Yolo County area.
