We have guests.

Hi there our names are Joe and Mr. Gun Smoke and we are the two resident miniature donkeys here. We usually have the run of this place along with the one goat and can go anywhere we darn please. Then last Sunday, here comes this horse trailer into our front pasture. Our mom had already closedthe gate so we couldn't get into the front pasture. We couldn't figure that one out.

Anyway, two horses climb right out of the horse trailer.. So of course we wanted to know what is going on. So it seems that there is a lot of grass in the front and we are not eating enough of it so she told a friend of hers that she could bring her two horses over to eat the grass. Well the gal that owns the horses was very pleased because she wanted to get her two horses off her pasture to give it a rest.

Can you tell how small I am compared to that big horse
Anyway, this was all very exciting because we really wanted to meet these two guests. But our mean Mom wouldn't let us go out with the two horses, one reason being that they are 10 times our size. The other reason is that one of the horses is a little bossy and Mom didn't want us to get hurt. We spent two days staring at each other because the two horses couldn't figure out our long ears and we couldn't figure what they were doing in our pasture. Anyway, we are still annoyed.

P.S. Our humans wants more info on the horses--breed, names, etc. :-)
P.P.S. Your mom gives you all the greatest names! :-))
It's wonderful of her to share her pasture with her neighbour's horses, too. So very kind.
Enjoy watching your guests. You never know, you could learn some fun bad habits to try out on your Mom.
Kisses and hugs

I think you should be annoyed that they moved into your pasture and are eating your grass! You'd have gotten around to eating yourselves eventually, right? Well, hopefully they're polite guests and you'll have some fun visiting with them!

And about our kittens: we have ten, but they are divided between two boxes. And because the moms keep taking kittens from each others boxes there are never the same (amount of) kittens in each box.
I've heard of people using goat milk during the depression; is that still done?
