We were going to ask if they were amarayllis like Simba. Mum had some bulbs given to her a few years ago and only one came up though and it grew upwards and upwards and then had one flower!! Mind you she's not a green fingered gardener.

Those Amaryllis [sp] are so beautiful. Around here, the crocuses have started blooming outside because it's been so warm. It that Maggie? She's not gonna eat em. Enjoy the beauty.

Our first thought was what lovely flowers. Our second one was, we hope the kitties don't eat them all! Our mom would have to keep them in the bathroom with the door shut. Hee, hee, hee!

Oooh, pretty! Both the flowers and the kitty. None of our amaryllis put out a flower this year, though some of the christmas cactus are still blooming. 'Course there were those two amy bulbs that we never got around to planting. Our weather has been so weird, We're not surprised that the flowers are confused. We do not remember EVER having such a mild winter here in Michigan.
