Black cat appreciation Day

Hi there Black kitty here. I am sitting here so those flowers look really nice with me as an ornament. I am so glad they are finally having a day just for us black kitties. There are three of us here and Mom a lot of times cannot tell who is who.
Here I am again, Little Miss BG. I do love to hang around outside too besides hogging all the toys inside. There are tons of bugs out here and they do need to be caught but not eaten after what happened to Brian. He got a bad taste in his mouth and was very sick.
We just want to tell everyone that Black cats are the best or at least near the top. They are terrific cats and we sure do appreciate them.

PLEASE go visit the auction going on right now. There are some fantastic goodies on there. Peggy has put 2 of her special blankets on there.

Mom has always been a fan of black cats ~ she thinks they are adorable. She adopted 2 beautiful black panther cats in her twenties, from a rescue shelter ~ and now some 30 years later she still loves and misses them. They were very special.
In the UK black cats are considered to bring good luck ~ especially if one walks across your path.

My dad used to have three black cats too and they were all nice and had different personalities. I don't know why the black cats get such a bad rap. They are like little panthers! I could tell them apart by their behavior and of course, one was much bigger than the other two.
