The two subjects that our Mom loves to talk about and try to do something about is the feral cats everywhere. We have taken in some here where we live and have discovered that if you get the feral cats when they are very young, almost before they are weaned, they are not hard to tame at all. But a feral cat should never be taken to a shelter. They will be so scared, that no one will want them. So shelters usually just euthanize them.

Hi there, Mahoney here, and I am so very young here. I had just been captured and enjoying some food. The Person did not know when she captured our Mom that there were kittens under the house. I am very tame around our Person but am scared of strangers and that is because we don't have many visitors and everyone else runs, so I guess it is a good idea.

And here I am all grown up. I do love to play with toys and not a whole lot scares me, when people come, I just have to go hide under the bed.

Hi there Maggie here when the Person was trying to get me in the carrier to take me home after a visit at the vets. That brings up the next subject that our Person loves to talk about and that is to please everyone, spay and neuter your pets. It is so important.

Hi there, Maggie here and just look at how much I have changed. Also I am a very sweet and nice cat and very tame for a feral gal. The main thing is that I am Mahoney's Mom and just prove that a feral cat can be tamed. I just need some more socializing as far as people go.

Hi there, Jamie here. I was the kitty that was dropped off at a dog shelter and a very nice person that lives in Florida has adopted me. Now all I have to do is get there. So that wonderful Dorian from 'Your Daily Cute' has set up a form to fill out, so if you can help, it would be so appreciated.
If anyone is along the route - Columbus, Savannah, anywhere along I-95 in Florida, please, please sign up here to help! It's just basic info with where you live and how far you'd drive. Let's get Jamie home!
There is a form you can fill out and you can find it here, Form
Or you can contact Dorian by sending her an email Dorian at:
dorian (at) yourdailycute (dot) com
So lets all see if we can get Jamie home.

Wishing everyone a terrific Monday and a better week.

You tell your person to keep getting the word out about feral cats and spaying and neutering!!
Nicki apparently was feral too, but found young, between 8 and 10 weeks of age. He's such a silly purr bug that our human can't imagine him being "feral." LOL.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Yay for Jamie - hope he gets a ride to take him home!
Take care
