Hi there, my name is Peace.  This beautiful sweet guy was adopted from us as a kitten and just recently ended up in a shelter in Charleston, SC. His owner was contacted and did not want Peace back so one of our employees went to Charleston and got him. Peace is an amazing cat and would fit into any family. I am 2 years old and I am neutered. In order to find out more about Peace, go to Watauga Humane

Hi there, Tina here.  Someone saw a car slow down and toss Tina out the car window. Tina is very people friendly despite her experience. Tina is two and has been here at the Watauga Humane Shelter since December 2008. Here she is posing pretty in the cats room. Please help find her a forever home.

You can also find more information about Tina at the same place. Watauga Humane

The phone number for both cats is 828-264-7865

Isn't that horrible? I've been telling everyone about them too. They both really deserve some love, attention and forever homes!

How sad that someone would just throw a cat out a car window. I hope they both find furever homes soon

Peace and Tina are two beautiful cats - we can't understand why the people who take on cats (or any animal) don't think through what it involves and how mean it is to throw them out like a piece of trash.

Oh goodness, why do people have to treat other living breathing beings so poorly? I hope that Peace and Tina find great homes soon where they can forget about all of their troubles.

How can anyone resist those lovely faces? It's a good thing we're here or I suspect Rumblemum would be trying to talk Rumbledad into getting them...

We just can't comprehend how some people can be so heartless and mean to animals.

We purray these two cuties find wonderful forever homes and live wonderful lives. We hope they never remember how they ended up at the shelter and only know love and kindness for the rest of their lives.

Oh my goodness these stories break my heart! I am sending the warmest wishes for these kitties to find a loving home. I posted about a kitty today too ~ left out in the heat ~ no tag or identification ~ but he was taken in by a wonderful gal ~ he got to help her with her paper work for the day! :)

Sending love to all the homeless kitties that need it!
