Help, we need some forever homes

Hi there, my name is Acorn and look how cute I am. The lady that does the typing here just wants to hug me.

Acorn is a pretty little all-black female. Like littermates Autumn, Cider, and Harvey, she'll be about 8 weeks old on October 26th. This is a very energetic group of kittens, and of course, they're all as cute as a bug's ear.Acorn is in good health as far as we know. She has not yet been spayed (she's too small right now); though this will be done prior to adoption. Although Acorn does not need to be adopted with any of her sibings, it would be a good idea for her to have a playmate who's about her age, just to enable her to get rid of some of her excess energy!  Her brother Harvey  did get adopted, Whoo Hooo

Hi there Cookie here. I am a little bit older and a little shy but I am still a great cat. I am a female  and 16 years old. So please someone take notice and help me find a home.

Poor Cookie was simply abandoned at an animal shelter. While we were lucky to have room for her, she remains quite frightened. She's a medium-to-large size black and white female, with a cute black patch over one eye, white whiskers, green eyes, and a pink nose. More recently, Cookie has become friendlier toward us, and will sometimes rub against a volunteer or put out her neck to be scratched; she's also begun taking cat treats from us. She will need a very quiet environment, however, without dogs or small children.Update: Cookie is now in our weight management suite, and is slowly regaining her girlish figure. She likes the change to a room with fewer cats, and has shown this by becoming much better with people. She'll frequently come up for attention now, and loves a good "skritch" on either side of the neck. This is great progress for Cookie and we hope to see her continue to become more social with people.

Again, please help Cookie find a home

Both these cats are at Tabby Place Shelter in New Jersey.

What a shame that Cookie needs a new home at her age she looks very mysterious with her eye patch - maybe she was a spy when she was younger.
Acorn is very cute - I had an all black cat once and he was very protective towards me and would chase off any cats or dogs who approached me!! We are sure Acorn will get a new home quickly as she looks very sweet.

We sure hope those precious babies find loving homes soon; all kitties and woofies and donkeys and horses deserve to be safe and loved...We've enjoyed checking out all your posts this past week; we especially loved your Tummy Tuesday with those handsome boys :)...And Sparkles book review with beautiful Tabatha was good too!...We are trying to catch up with our wonderful friends on the weekends; our Mommy's new job, along with her part time one, makes it difficult to visit during the week now...We hope you all enjoy a fun weekend together, sweet friends...kisses to you guys and big hugs to your lovely Mom...Calle, Halle, Sukki

Oh, what cute kittehs! I hopes they both finds their forever homes soon. But most especially, pretty Cookie. It would be awfully hard to be without a home when you're in your golden years.

Poor Cookie, just abandoned like that. It seems to happen when an older person dies and no one wants the cat, that's how I got Mango but at least he was younger. It's so hard to find homes for older animals.
Acorn is so adorable, and being a baby I'm sure she'll find a forever home soon.

We'll be purring and hoping forever homes come along real soon for the cuties. Cookie is beautiful and a very sophisticated cat! Some homes don't need the energy of kittens, but would rather have a kitty just to purr with!
