Live strong day

Today is Livestrong day and we just want to say that we need to send this cancer disease OUT the door. So many of our friends and kitties have lost their battle with it. Our friend Vic, Ann,s fella of Zoolatry's, lost his battle and boy did he put up a battle. There have been many kitties and doggies that have lost the battle too. It is just all too sad. Lives cut way too short.

So everyone let us all LiveStrong together and fight this darn disease and honor the ones that have lost the battle.  We are all praying and purring for those fighting the disease right now and in hopes that no one else gets the disease and that they find some good ways to cure the disease. We also hope that they can do some research for the kitties that have cancer. There is very little research on cancer in cats.

Our Mom has breast cancer and had some pretty intense treatments and so far she is all right. It has been a little over five years. We are thankful for the treatments working for now and we do a lot of praying that the darn disease doesn't come back. We kitties kept her going during that time, that is for sure. So we want to send tons of purrs and prayers to all those that have the disease now and to the ones that we have lost. We also want to hope for lots and lots more research done on this disease for the humans and the kitties too.

We also want to send some special purrs and prayers to our friend Judi of SASSS  who is having a hard time right now fighting this horrible disease. Judi, we are thinking about you.

Hopefully this Livestrong day will make people more aware and push for more research.

Purring that your Mom continues to win against the evil C and that others do to. I read last year that 50% of cat over 10 years old get cancer. Purring hard for a cure. *bows head in prayer*

We LiveStrong today and purr and pray for an end to this horrible disease. When we lost Sniffie mom tried to find an organization that was dedicated to cancer research in cats. The only one she could find was the Winn Foundation.

We are hoping the best for you in your battle with the Big C. My favorite aunt has terminal lung cancer. So many good people and wonderful kitties have battled this disease. Purrs and hugs to all who have battled the Big C or been touched by a loss to the Big C.
