Today is National Feral Cat day and we wanted to do a small part in celebrating the day. We have a lot of feral cats here which are mostly kittens grown up that came from feral mommas.

Hi there, Momma kitty here. I am a very feral cat and have been coming over here to eat for four years now and have had 3 litters of kittens that I tried to make wild and feral too but that darn human caught them and took them home with her. The last three I had, I kept hiding in different places so that she couldn't capture them but then I got distracted, and she somehow found them and lured them over to her house. It took her a long time to get the very last one which was Tees. Ohs and Bees figured out where the food was.
Then that lady started feeding me in a box of some sort but I was hungry so I started to go into the box. After about a month, all of a sudden she closed the door and I was trapped. Yikes. She put me in that machine and took me to that place calleh 'the vets' where I promptly bit someone. I had to be quaranteed for two weeks which meant me being in a cage that long. I tried my darndest to get out and got my nose all bloody but I survived, had my girly operation and got to come home.
This is not exactly what they call TNR but it is close. In the TNR, they go to different colonies of feral cats and put out traps of different sorts with food in them and trap a lot of feral cats, take them to be neutered and then return them to where they were found. There are an awful lot of great people that do this and they are great because it takes a lot of time and patience.
I heard the other day about a state that will not allow TNR which I think is just horrible. It is such a good way of keeping cats out of the shelters since for one big reason, they cannot have any children.

Hi there, Maggie here. I am a feral cat and this woman here trapped me at a house that was abandoned by the owner. We were getting fed maybe every third day or something and the possoms and squirrels helped to eat the food too. Then this lady came along with some food in a can and she put it in a box and of course I went in to eat the food. After about a week, she closed the door and off I went to 'the vets', but I came home to her house after my operation and shots. I am still in the house and getting a little better but I still don't want that lady to touch me.
