Our BB

BB was just a special kitty. She was here when Mom moved in here ten years ago and was a very feral kitty. She and her brother looked a lot alike and were the very best of friends. Then her brother Little Bit went off and never came back and BB was lost without him. Then she got beaten up by one of the cats here and was hurt pretty seriously but she got over that but never would let another cat near her.

So through it all, BB became Mom's best friend. She was a very loving kitty. She would plant kisses on her all the time and sit in her lap and slept with her everynight. So she will be missed but she is so much better off where she is.

As you can see BB did like to eat. About a year ago, BB disappeared and Mom had given up on her coming back. 3 months later she appeared in the pasture just a meowing at Mom. We thought Mom was going to faint. Anyway, Mom scooped her up and took her in the house and fed her and fed her. She was very thin. But she bounced back but developed a cough. So off to the vet we went. And that is when they discovered her enlarged heart. They didn't expect her to live. But on the lasix, she did just great. But then she developed Stomatitis and couldn't eat anything. With the heart problem the big surgery of taking all the teeth out, was not a choice. And BB was not a happy camper if she couldn't eat. So BB has had kind of a rough go at life but she was a trouper through it all and was Mom's best buddy.

We have bowed heads and tipped tails. We are so sad you have lost your best buddy, and it looks like she loved you loads - or she would never have stayed, and stuck by you like glue even if the other kitties had been a bit mean.
With many purrs, and we shall light a candle on our catio for her tonight. We're aslo hoping for some northern lights and our Äiti always say that they are the signs that those who have gone before playing happily and safely.

I know exactly how you are feeling. Before Grace & Company came into my life, my precious Indy and playful Pluto were my joys and wonderful companions. After helping each one to the bridge (Pluto in California, and Indy after we moved to Texas), my very good friend kept reminding me that they loved our life together ... and I know they did.
