8 (yes EIGHT) Adult & Senior Cats Urgently Need New Home in NYC After 73-Year-Old Owner Broke Her Neck!
Bekah is helping a woman with 10 cats who was injured in November. She broke her neck and has been hospitalized ever since. We thought she would be released eventually and able to keep at least some cats but just learned last week she will go to an assisted living facility where pets are not allowed. She has no family or friends who can take in any of the cats and is being forced to rehome ALL of them.
After months of hoping for a miracle, the difficult process has finally begun. We have had two adoptions but the remaining EIGHT must be out of the apartment by the end of February.
The cats have been well cared for and are in great health, ranging in age from 6-18 years old. All have been vaccinated and are FIV/FeLV negative.

Hi there, Timmie here, I am one of the 8 kitties that needs a home. This shy 6 year old gal is low key but when she does come out to greet you, you will be stunned by her beauty! She only shows her sweet, affectionate side to those who take the time to get to know her. There are 7 more of us that really need a home so please pass this on to anyone that might can take some of us. PLEASE help us. We are in NYC right now. I am not of that poor lady's age but I do have a plan for my girl..all three sons are cat people so there won't be a problem.
May we ask what you are going to do with it now you've got it?
We hope those poor cats are all getting new homes - that poor lady must be so upset about them and it would be great for her to know they were all safe and loved.
