We sure need some homes for Christmas

Hugo here. Today I am giving the blog back to Marg so she can try to help find two kitties a home.  Oh and I am staying with Marg through Christmas because of travel would be a little hectic the week before Christmas. So I will be leaving the Monday after Christmas.  Now, who would like to have me visit them??  The first one who asks will be my next stop so just leave me a comment.

Hi, my name is Eastwick, a black girl kittycat (short coat), two years old. I am a very fine KY kitty lady, but I wasn't treated like one, and you should have seen the awful shape I was in. My face was battered in the trap, and I was feeling peaked and had bad skin. That kittycat lady of some renown, didn't let all my troubles get her down. She said, "I know how to fix her, and with my own special elixir."  Well, I'm very happy to say, I'm so much better, hooray! I'm a friendly girl, and already spayed, so I must have been abandoned, I'm sorely afraid. But what fills this girl with gloom, the shelter is full, no more room, and I'm a hair's breadth from facing my doom. So won't you come and be my special angel, and give me the love of which they sometimes tell?  Please don't hesitate, for tomorrow may be too late. Love, Eastwick

Please tell all your friends especially the ones that live in Kentucky which is where Eastwick is now.  She really needs a home badly

Hi there Calle here. Aren't I pretty. Callie, a very pretty (short coat) calico girl. They called me "nursing home Callie" because I used to hang out at the nursing home and one of the kind residents was feeding me. The nursing home administrator called the volunteers and said to come and get me because it was getting cold outside. There is more to the story than meets the eye, but we'll keep the rest to ourselves, won't we? Anyway, I must have been someone's responsibility once, because I've been spayed and eartipped. Well, perhaps it was all for the best because I could fully concentrate on being sweet and pretty and working on my people skills. I've already come a long way in that regard, as I let the volunteers pet me and pick me up. By the time you send for comely Callie the calico, I'll have everybody eating out of my paw, ha, ha. I was hoping to go to my new home before the days became longer and the sun warmed the Kentucky hills, and the kittens started their annual migration to the shelter, but this was not to be. Its awfully hard to compete with the babies, but I hope you'll consider an older girl who has so much to offer. Won't you

Please pass this on to anyone you know that might want a kitty. We know the holidays are not a good time to get a new pet but maybe you could wait till right after and sign up for Calle before Christmas.

Eastwick is the image of Maxie who lived here with Emma before we were born gosh those eyes and the expression.
If we were near mum would certainly consider taking that lovely girl but we're an ocean away.
We hope and purray that both these lovely ladies get their furever homes very soon.

We're sure we won't be the first to request Hugo's presence but we are writing anyway.

Lovely kitties! But what in the heck is 'ear tipped?' and what does that mean exactly? Sounds icky.
