Wheeee, maybe a car ride

Last night we all gathered on our Mom's car and begged her to take us for a ride. Aren't we the silly ones, because usually a car ride is not a good thing, but we just want to ride around and see the sights right here on the roof. Just think of all the cats and things we could wave at and say a big hello.
Well imagine that, she wouldn't take us. So we just enjoyed the view from on top of the car. We also practiced sliding down the car to the ground. That is really fun.

Here we are just enjoying ourselves.

Mom decided that she would put this picture on here just because it is kind of a neat picture. It was not done intentionally at all.

Did you know that;
Cats have about 100 different vocalization sounds. In comparison, dogs have about 10.
Cats have amazing hearing ability. A cat's ear has 30 muscles that control the outer ear (by comparison, human ears only have six muscles). These muscles rotate 180 degrees, so the cat can hear in all directions without moving its head.

Have a purrfect day. Big hug to Marg. :)
Another interesting cat fact: in spite of our wide variety of vocalizations, that is not the main way we communicate with other cats! If you notice, we mostly use our various meowing words to talk to humans, but we don't usually talk like that to other kitties. We mostly talk to other kitties when we are angry at them!
We knew cats made more vocalization sounds then dogs, but we didn't realize it was that many more! Wow!
My neighbors cat likes to walk across my car, I see the paw prints running down my car all the time.
We talk to Mommy and Daddy all the time...Mommy says 100 sounds is probably a low estimate...especially for the Meezer, May Ling. She's a talkative Cat!
Kisses and hugs
