How about some dog treats called Duckie cookies?

My friend that has her own special bakery just to make treats for dogs. She started the baking of the cookies so try to help her wonderful dog Willow. And they did help her for 8 years but unfortunately Willow passed away last year.

But anyway, these cookies are made entirely with ingredients from a local meat market, and restaurant supply companies and she never uses any by products. The treats are very small which makes them really good to use for training your dog because you can keep them in your pocket easily.

Many dogs have developed allergies to chicken, beef, and lamb, and also allergies to eggs, wheat, and corn, soy, and flax. So the Waggin tails bakery has developed this special cookie for the dogs that have allergies to the above ingredients. The cookie is made with only three ingredients. Duck liver from ducks raised without antibiotics or hormones, organic garbanzo flour and filtered water. The cookies are very small, 1/2inch square.

I have my very own testimonial dog right here in my house. Ande who is the Border collie here, is a very fussy eater. She doesn't even like human food and sometimes won't eat her own food no matter what I feed her. So I ordered some of these treats, because you can get a free sample just for the postage, and Ande went nuts over the treats. She just loved them.

There are some other kind of cookies too which I will get into in another post. Take a look at these great treats.

Our dog will eat just about anything, thanks to my husband feeding her all the time. He used to fix her breakfast in the mornings. Scrambled eggs and the like. It was something to watch for sure.

It's great that folks are doing their own treats. We often really don't know what we are feeding our pets when we buy commercial food and treats. That filler part is often very scary.

Have a terrific day. :)

These sound like a wonderful alternative to the treats sold at most stores. Having one of those dogs with allergies to many things makes giving treats a challenge. thanks for the info

We will have to keep those in mind. We don't have dogs but we know dogs so the next time we need to get them something we will have to try them out!
