Rose bushes are so Yummy

Well for some of us the rose bush is a great treat and that would be for me the residing goat here. We just love the leaves from those thorny branches. That are so tasty. So I just jump up on the fence and bend it a little more so I can have my tasty snack. Yummy. Then I go try another part of the fence to get a little more rose and bend that fence too. It is just so much fun. The dogs and Mom get annoyed with me doing it but I really don't mind that.

So, if you have any rose bushes that need trimming, I will be right over. I am very good at it.

Goat trivia.

When 2 horns aren't enough - Most goats have two horns. Some have none. Some have as many as 8! Sort of like how clover sometimes has four leaves.

Bearded ladies - Both males and females have beards

We didn't know goats could have more than one pair of horns. Getting the rose leaves must be more than a little ouchie!!

Do you get stuck with the thorns much when you are eating the rose bushes?

We think thorns in the tongue would hurt! They must be quite a delicacy, those rose bush leaves. :-)

Well, guess that evolutionary tactic of developing thorns to keep one's self from becoming fodder doesn't work for goats. Chew carefully!

I have a rose bush in the front of my house that my husband hates. I know he wouldn't mind you trimming it. Don't those thorns hurt when you bite in to them?

Hi! This is our first time here cause mommy has been lazy (she'd say "busy") about helping me comment. Thanks for visiting me a little bit ago! I love making new friends. Hey, my mommy's mommy's name is "Marge" so that is exciting.

You can come here and help trim the knockout roses. Mommy says they have gone crazy! I taste a lot of plants ( mommy only grown safe ones and I stay indoors since I have FIV) but I've never tried rose bushes.

We love your evacuation tips below. I have my very own kitty evacuation kit. We live in Cincy OH but not long ago in a nearby county, homes had to be evacuated cause a train car tipped and leaked. We have a train track about a 1/2 mile away so mommy fixed me up with my very own bin. She changes the food out quarterly so it is fresh and I have an extra litter etc. I hope we never need it. We hope you never need to evacuate again either. purrrrrrs

Stop by and visit again sometime!
