Happy Livestrong day

Hi there everyone, Marg here. Today is the big day to raise awareness of cancer. It is a terrible disease and we want to honor all those that lost the battle and encourage everyone who is fighting the disease right now.
Many thanks to Ann over there at Zoolatry for this wonderful graphic of the Queen at our house, MewMew. She was a huge help to Mom when she had just finished her last chemo and was really still down in the dumps just from feeling horrible from the chemo. She was wishing for a kitten to love and along came MewMew that next morning all wild and wolly and matted. She just galloped by Mom but stopped when Mom started Mewmewing at her. She will never forget that day that MewMew arrived. Kind of like a miracle.
Hi there, Smoke and Joe here being a part of this great day again. This is Mom's attempt at making things yellow. We love being a part of this day in hope that we give everyone fighting the disease some hope, courage and belief to fight the disease. Our Mom truly believes that attitude is such a big thing in the fight against the disease. It is really hard but keeping a positive attitude but it does make such a difference.
So everyone let us all LiveStrong together and fight this darn disease and honor the ones that have lost the battle. We are all praying and purring for those fighting the disease right now and in hopes that no one else gets the disease and that they find some good ways to cure the disease. We also hope that they can do some research for the kitties that have cancer.

How good that your Mom has a positive attitude and we are sorry she has had to have horrible chemo. Cancer is a scary disease, and even for the survivors, it is a challenging journey. Mom and I pray for more research to find a cure, and honor those who are survivors, and remember those who lost the battle. Mom's sister did lose the battle to breast cancer after 10 years, but she fought hard and had a lot of good time during those ten years too. Her positive and determined attitude made a big difference, my Mom thinks.

Marg, what a sweet story about MewMew. We have heard several stories over the years about how it seems special cats were sent to people who needed them, but we think this story of MewMew is the best. I know how much sadness a loving cat can take away, and I'm glad she was able to help you through things I cannot even imagine. We wish you many, Many years of health and happiness.
