Mrs. Pond comes around once or twice a year and we miss her a lot when she isn't here. She mainly comes during the winter and it is fun to have her here. So last Friday it rained and rained and rained some more, and Mrs. Pond made an appearance.

It is too bad it isn't all nice and green around Mrs.Pond. But that is all right, we are just hoping that Mr. and Mrs. duck come to visit. One year they came to visit and had little bitty baby duckies. That was fun watching them all swim around. Not to worry, the photographer will get pictures if they show up.

The dogs used to go for a dip but it is too cold right now. Ande liked it the best.  So it was great fun to wake up and see Mrs. Pond back again.

PS, the new kitty, GW for now is still here and in fact he, not she, is hanging out on our porch. I was patting him yesterday and he has all kinds of wounds all over his body, poor thing. But he doesn't seem to be afraid of anything.  Anyway, I am going to take him to the vet tomorrow and get him tested and then go from there.
