I just read this wonderful book called " A cat named Squeeky".  This book is especially dear to me because I had a cat that was named Squeaky for 19 years and she was terrific. She was an Orange cat and this one is a calico.

This is a wonderful book and it is a  true story about this wonderful couple that had really never had any pets. This cat would come to their house amongst others in the neighborhood for food. Eventually they saw her looking in the back door window. And soon she was in the house and they became very attached to Squeaky.

It is a very refreshing story and a wonderful read. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
