Review of the Book Nubs by Major Brian Dennis

This is a wonderful book that is a true story about a dog called Nubs and his great friend, Marine Brian Dennis. Nubs was the leader of a wild dog pack, living off the land but then his life changed when he met Brian Dennis. Brian was very willing to share his food and bed with Nubs so that lucky dog found a great friend.
Soon the Marines had to relocate a full 70 miles away and Brian had to go without Nubs because Marines were not allowed to have dogs. But Nubs didn’t know that and so that began the incredible journey that would take him all kinds of dangerous places.
This is a wonderful story that will touch your heart and Brian is a great and colorful writer with little touches within the book from his email.
There is a widget on the right side here where you can order it and what little I make goes to feeding all these rescued cats. And wow, are they hungry.
