Back on Track

The sound of the spin cycle on the washer only reminded me of one thing. I have about 5 minutes before I have to shut off buffalo direct tv and get down to business. I had spent the whole morning catching up on a favorite show of mine and my afternoon was about to be all business. I had spent the majority of the week with my nose buried in the computer for work and the other time on the ball fields watching my son play his heart out on the t-ball field. The house had certainly suffered from my neglect. In fact I couldn't remember the last time I had made a home cooked meal. It was time to get back on track with home duties. I'll just have to simply rely on my DVR to catch my favorite shows and less time watching them live as they happen. Besides, I will probably enjoy them more with a clean house and full belly rather than with the to-do list and guilt looming over me.
