Staying safe in Mississippi
by admin
I live in a fair size town in Mississippi and this state has a fair size crime rate to go along with it. A person really needs to be aware and to understand that safety is a major issue. The town that I live in is not really big but, as it is everywhere, we do have a crime element.
To stay safe in our homes, especially at night, we make sure that all of our doors and windows lock securely. Some people rely on adt security around mississippiwhich can be a good deterrent. I also have adequate lighting at night so that anyone with mischief on their minds would be less likely to come here because the exposure would be a risk. I do have a small dog that will bark if anyone that she does not know arrives. She may be small but she is noisy and that is what counts.
I take precaution when I must leave home after dark. I do not walk anywhere unless there is someone else along with me. When driving at night, I keep the doors on the vehicle locked and I always try to park in well lit areas.
I would suggest that, anywhere you live, precautionsshould be taken to ensure the safety of yourself and your family. Crime is everywhere; even in Mississippi.
